Bringing the World Home: Honduras

Alicia ElatassiComment

Beach, Sun and Mosquitos here we come!

For the last 10 years we head to a beach location for spring break.  Its become a tradition that my Alex gets a beach trip for his birthday which every year happens while he's on Spring Break.

This year wasn't any different and we headed to Roatan Honduras for the beach, the sun and of course the culture.  Being able to travel for fun and now for my boutique has been the most fun I've ever had. Bringing to Houston a piece of the world makes me so happy because cultural trips are always filled with magic and lovely people.  The country of Honduras has a rich multi-ethnic prehistory.  The confluence of Spanish exploradores, indigenous peoples and African trading made in-roads into a country that it developed a lovely mix of color and rich food.
